Eaton''s Controls and Power Conversion Division, (CPCD) has an opening for a Sr. Analyst - Financial Planning located in Watertown WI.
This position serves as primary contact and financial champion to the Drives & Solar product lines. The Senior Analyst directly supports a Controller and Leadership Team with reporting, in-depth analysis, and contributing to financial process leadership.
Essential Functions:
Prepare Month End Closing & Rolling Forecast Financials
Support Manufacturing Operations by reviewing all aspects of plant operations, including, but not limited to manpower analysis, trend analysis, etc.
Prepare multiple reporting requests and provide analyzes as required including monthly commentary package.
Meeting monthly, quarterly and yearly reporting deadlines is a crucial aspect of this position.
Assist with the annual profit planning process
Reconcile & properly account for Capital Spending in accordance with Corporate Finance Policies.
Reconcile Balance Sheet Accounts for SOX and Internal Audit compliance on a monthly basis. Ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting procedures.
Prepare reviews, analyze and interpret all financial reports for the plant controller and Leadership Team as needed. Communicate results to ensure timely and effective decision making. Participate in the month-end close, forecasting, annual profit plan, and strategic plan processes. Perform Ad hoc analysis for Controller, Plant Manager, Division, and Group teams on various aspects of closing, rolling, profit plan and strategic plan.
Coordinate with various other financial departments on a monthly basis to ensure all Inter/Intra company reporting requirements are being met.
Ad hoc financial analysis.
Provide responses to Corporate, Group, and Sector around requests for data.
Perform annual LIFO calculation and reporting.
Position Criteria:
Superior analytical, written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
Must be action oriented, organized, and possess strong interpersonal skills to communicate and interface effectively across all level of management within the plant and within the Corporation.
Working knowledge of electronic data processing systems as well as proficiency in Excel are required
Preferred
Qualifications:
Previous experience within a manufacturing plant
MBA, CPA or CMA
Knowledge of Oracle, MFG Pro, Vista, Excel, Access and Encore
Basic
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
Minimum 1 year of accounting/financial analysis experience within the manufacturing industry.
Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
