Sanft Accounting & Tax, LLC Sanft Accounting & Tax, LLC Watertown, WI Watertown, WI Full-time Full-time $15 - $17 an hour $15 - $17 an hour The Administrative Assistant Role is responsible for learning the specific administrative activities common to a public accounting firm and applying their technical skills to efficiently process client work, provide administrative support to individuals inside the firm, support to visitors to the firm, and assist with internal firm administrative tasks and projects.

General Responsibilities Opens and closes office areas at beginning and end of day.
Answers and directs phone calls.
Maintains staff and firm calendars and schedules.
Distributes mail, e-mail, and faxes.
Assembles and mails various firm correspondence and prepares priority mail, UPS, and FedEx including dropping off mail at the post office or carrier office as needed.
Assists with marketing and other projects.
Administrative processing of income tax billings.
Handles ordering of office supplies and miscellaneous purchases as well as maintaining office supply inventory.
Other duties as requested.
Specific Responsibilities Opens mail containing client payments and keys payments into practice management system.
Responsible for copier and printer maintenance in coordination with firm vendors.
Provides digital drafts of all client engagement letters to engagement leaders for edit and approval.
Once approved, finalizes and mails.
Handles administrative digital processing, copying, and processing of income tax returns, financial statements, and other documents.

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE AND PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES High school diploma or equivalency.
Developing technical knowledge regarding specific responsibilities.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.
